These apps are designed to serve as a mobile journal to track your diet and exercise as well as provide general nutrition information, provide recipes and serve as a tool to determine aspects of your health. LoseIt

LoseIt is a food journal, an exercise tracker, and a place to set and track goals.

To establish an account: enter starting weight, goal weight, gender, height, birthday, your weight goal plan (maintain weight, lose ? lb per week, 1 lb per week, 1 ? lb per week, 2 lb per week). App calculates a daily calorie budget and a date for your goal to be reached by.

My day: Add food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks).? It gives you the option to search specific foods or scan a bar code, add foods from your favorites or previous meals, and find brand name food. You can also log exercises.

Log: Overview of calories consumed from food, burned from exercise, and overall net consumption for the day.

Motivate: Here, you can add friends on LoseIt for motivation.

Goals: Overview of goals and a weekly chart to see progress and to record current weight.

Nutrition Tips is an app which offers a wide range of general nutrition tips. You are able to favorite, email, text, or copy these tips to send to a friend!

Your Ideal Weight and BMI is an app which determines healthy weights and BMIs.

Start test: Enter height, weight, gender, and birthday and the app calculates your BMI and whether that BMI indicates you are underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese. It gives you a range of healthy weights based on the information you insert.

Vitamins

Vitamins is an app which works like an encyclopedia for various vitamins.

This app contains a search box to search for any vitamin as well as an alphabetical list of the vitamins. It lists the functions of the vitamin as well as sources of it.

Glucose Buddy is a blood glucose log, a food journal, and an exercise tracker.

This app allows you to search for various healthy recipes based on certain criteria. You can search for recipes based on food category (poultry, fish, vegetarian, etc.), course, cuisine, dietary needs, or occasion. Each recipe contains ingredients, directions, nutrition facts, and ratings.
